Wedding dress, 1913. In the style of Paul Poiret. Batwing-shaped sleeves and draped skirt with fishtail train are silk and gold thread brocade. Main bodice is cream wool cashmere, edged with border of embroidered gold thread, with a high-necked overbodice of machine-made lace on a net ground. Cashmere waistband is embroidered with gold metallic thread. The bride also wore a large black velvet picture hat with wide brim and ostrich feather trim.
