Golden Ray Migration by Sandra Critelli: In schools of as many as 10,000 Golden Rays migrate biannually between western Florida and the Yucatan, turning vast areas of blue water to gold. Measuring up to 7ft wing-tip to wing-tip, they have long, pointed pectoral fins that separate into two lobes in front of their high-domed heads and give them a cow-like appearance

Backlighting is used to bring out shadows from within the cloud, to give it that look of a looming and ominous rain cloud. #Berndnaut_Smilde #Clouds

They often extend from the base of a cumulonimbus, but may also be found under altocumulus, altostratus, stratocumulus, and cirrus clouds, as well as volcanic ash clouds. When occurring in cumulonimbus, mammatus are often indicative of a particularly strong storm or perhaps even a tornadic storm."
