Maasai woman at the square of her village, in Amboseli. Masai women typically wear vast plate-like bead necklaces, and colourful wraps called kanga.
The Bodi ( or Mekan / Me'en ) live near the Omo river and are the neighbours of the Mursi. Some women wear a small clayplate under their lower lip. This is a statussymbol and means that they have had at least 3 children. The Bodi are under a lot of pressure of the sugarcane factories that are being build in their territory. © Steven Goethals Join me on Facebook
