Not sure if a "favorite" as my body is still recovering... but the Bright Angel Trail to Plateau Point is something worth trying if you can handle it.

Tom's Thumb-Great hike in the McDowell Mountain Preserve. It's extreme... so be in shape, have time and lots of water. BUT, you get some beautiful scenery and a great workout as your reward. :)

If you are visiting Sedona... highly recommend this hike. It's a little over 4 mile loop, but the views are spectacular and the path is very well marked. Go counter-clockwise for easier elevation gain and neater angle for views.

Camelback Mountain-One of those... got to do by 40 hikes. Scared the bejesus out of me, but I made it. Over 1300 ft elevation gain and you are scrambling up some rocks off step drop-offs.
