Growing strawberries (Or any plants!) from a gutter hung on the fence drilled holes every few inches in the bottom so they would drain well, and added Miracle Grow, and planted 100 strawberry plants in 10 foot long metal gutters

For my herb garden. This one doesn't show you how to do it but looks like a good project to start! It's also great for a tiny patio or yard. Looks like the pots might be too small though. so, build frame bigger according to pot size preferred.
A pinner did this. My suggestion would be to add cardboard or something up the sides to hold water. My garden did SO WELL, but it dried out easily. Also, in the individual holes, I planted herbs, green peppers and zucchini. They did excellent also!
Keep egg shells in open container in fridge. When the container is full, crush shells into small bits and sprinkle them around base of your plants. Sharp eggshells will deter slugs, snails other bugs & adds touch of calcium to soil.
