The show where contestants buy, sell, or trade anything and everything from Aardvarks to Zithers. Lawyers, doctors, plumbers, and even Beverly Hills housewives dressed as kumquats and turnips hoping to trade a hard boiled egg for a Cadillac. What would be behind the Curtain? A Car or a ZONK...a worthless, ridiculous prize!

Sally Fields was the "Flying Nun" Sister Bertrille. For some reason I am just obsessed with nuns for spring. I mean that in total sincerity and I have no explanation for it.
Sally Fields - The Flying Nun was one of the many fantasy sitcoms on the 1960's. It was about Elsie Enthrington, a surfer girl, who became a nun. Now named Sister Bertrille, the young novice discovered that she had the ability to fly. She only weighed 90 pounds and when the wind was right she could put on her cornette and fly.
[Sally Fields was the "Flying Nun" Sister Bertrille] Implausible and magical at the same time ... kid-friendly at it's best
The Flying Nun is an American sitcom produced by Screen Gems for ABC based on the book The Fifteenth Pelican, by Tere Rios, which starred Sally Field as Sister Bertrille.
Yup, Sally Field left the Gidget beach and now could fly as Sister Bertrille in "The Flying Nun"
