Key Lime Pound Cake Preheat 325 Beat 1 c. soft butter & ½ c. shortening until creamy, add 3 c. sugar, beat until fluffy. Add 6 lg eggs 1 at a time. Stir in 3 c. a.p.flour, ½ tsp b. pow. & ⅛ tsp salt alternately w/ 1 c. milk beginning & ending w/ flour. Stir in 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 tsp lime zest & ¼ c Key lime juice Pour into a greased & floured Bunt pan. Bake 1 hr. & 15 min. Cool Plate & brush top w/ Glaze: Whisk 1 c pow. sugar. 2 Tbs. Key lime juice, ½ tsp vanilla extract.
