Creeping Phlox is a very hardy spring blooming ground cover excellent for Central Oregon gardens. There is a native variety you can see when out hiking in the spring, especially on Gray Butte in Smith Rock State Park.
Just bought some Elfin Thyme. I want to plant them in cement cracks. I wonder if they would look as nice as in the pictures? I would upload it if they do! big thyme plants in tiny cracks: wooly thyme, white thyme, veronica
