I used the AMT double super tweeter. The first one was broken and the company was very nice to send me a brand new one. And when I listened to it with QUAD-989 electronic city speaker, it soundly very nice and it doesn't change a lot. It just feels more natural and more real and image is wider. I am very satisfied. The Aperion Verus III Speakers are breathtaking!
I bought my first set of Aperion speakers 11 years ago. They have been wonderful speakers for that entire time. But when the Verus III V8T concert Towers reviews came out a couple years back, I started saving my pennies. I purchased the Verus Towers, Surrounds and Center channel and the 12 inch woofer. To say that it was an Epiphany in my musical listening experience would be an understatement. I can’t imagine wanting a different speaker in this price range. Aperion my hat is off to you! And thank you for the gift of me falling in love with music once again!! Thank you, Daniel!

Especially considering (1) I had never heard the speakers in person and didn't personally know anyone who had,(2) I didn't want to box all this stuff up and send it back if I didn't like it, (3) My money would be tied up during this process, which could easily be months,(4) I had never dealt with this company before and I would have to take a chance on the quality of the product & warranty. I began this process last December. I am pleased to say, I love these speakers and they were worth every penny!! Aperion Audio is one of the best companies by far that I have ever worked with! Everything about the speakers alludes to quality. The packing is almost as impressive as the speakers themselves. The outer boxes were pretty beat up but the double boxing and exceptional foam inserts get everything in perfect condition. The speakers have perfect balance of warmth and detail without ever being fatiguing to list to. Bass output is outstanding, a nice balance of old school bookshelves and precision towers. Great experience, great sound. I had previously bought an older version of the Grand Verus center channel and the time was right to expand and replace my old tower speakers. First a representative e-mailed asking if my order was correct since I bought two different finishes for the bookshelves and towers which was great that they put care into the purchase. Then I received updates about shipping directly as well. On to the speakers. I have a 5.2.4 setup now with the recent Aperion tower and bookshelf purchase. They were packaged very nice. I'll save the boxes for moves in the future. The sound with my Denon AVR and the auto set up is very clean and nice sounding. I had a friend who is a musician with really good hearing tell me what he thought since my hearing is damaged. He agreed. -JN

Aperion's Verus Concert V8T tower, V8C center and Bravus II 12D subwoofer with Clearus C8C in-ceiling speaker outclasses everything in its price range. All powered by Marantz Cinema 40.
