Jennifer Bartlett lists everything she ate on Thanksgiving in this letter to Jack Tworkov, ca. 1970: Turkey cooked upside down, juice preservation, with stuffing (apples, raisins, bread, sausage, sweet potatoes, pecans--very baroque and good), 2 kinds of sweet potatoes, 2 gravies, pumpkin pie, and chocolate creams.
