Mar 17, 2013 my azalea bonsai in training, its about 3 or 4 years old and sits in an Oklahoma NORTH window. I keep a stupid african violet (decorated with a honey locust thorn and a fake flower) and a succulant on its soil for company. I noticed it had a bloom today. This plant gets watered once a week or less (if I forget) and seems to be happy.

Cabernet Grape Bonsai, from Harry David. Already 10 to 12 years old, this bonsai has the gnarly look and venerable character youd expect to see only in an ancient hillside vineyard.

My aloe vera is pushing against my tropical forest tent (I took a dry cleaning garment bag and covered the stand, putting scotch tape over any holes. The bottom is left open)
