Once a Witch and Always a Witch are definitely unique books about witches. I love the idea of each witch having a specific Talent unique to him or her and then having the ability to cast spells and such. I recommend these books to anyone who likes to read about witches and/or time travel who are age twelve and older. http://almybnenr.tumblr.com/post/8189559811/always-a-witch
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo...A discredited journalist and a computer hacker discover that even the wealthiest families have skeletons in their closets while working to solve the mystery of a 40-year-old murder...disappearance of Harriet Vanger, whose uncle suspects she may have been killed by a member of their own family. The deeper they dig for the truth, the greater the risk of being buried alive by members of the family, who will go to great lengths to keep their secrets tightly…
This is one of my favorite young adult novels - there is a hint of THE HUNGER GAMES trilogy but not as violent. Great character development. Along with Suzanne, Susan Beth knows her audience and writes so well it is a joy for an adult to read also. Highly recommend!
MUST READ! Its supposed to be a teen book but it completely changed my view of the world. Its a book about a girl who commits suicide and sends these tapes to a boy telling him the 13 reasons why she killed herself. Its definitely an eye opener and I highly recommend it.
