Petit fétiche en bois dur complétement recouvert de matières sacrificielles. Le Botchio (Boccio, Bocio, Botchio) dont le nom se compose de deux mots distincts, "BO" qui signifie "pouvoir, maléfice " et de "CIO" qui désigne un "cadavre", s'inscrit dans une vaste panthéon de divinités unifiées au XVII ème siècle lors de la création du rite Vaudou. A l'instar de toutes les divinités, le Bocio reçoit lui aussi des offrandes (calebasses, asen, morceaux de fer censés représenter les ancêtres, cauris).
