Cool Down Cubes - great for students who have difficulty w/anger

Crafty Counselor Chick: Cool Down Cubes. Students who have trouble controlling their anger are asked to take a cube and try the cool down strategy written on it. Examples: count to ten, take 3 deep breaths, talk to a friend, tell the teacher, etc.

I love the way the bright colors..... it looks like a "party invitation!" I know teachers need "quiet" time, but when students do approach a teacher it is soooooo very important for them to feel that what they are saying matters. This desks is friendly and inviting..... It says "I care about my classroom, and I care about you."

I love the teachers desk in this picture. I also love the filing cabinet! This shows just simple paint can make a world of difference.
