Reading this now, very good book! The Memory Palace, Mira Bartok
The Memory Palace- Read it, was good- worth reading
"The Memory Palace: A Memoir Of Memory, Mental Illness And Trauma" by Mira Bartok. [Schizophrenic Parent] [Mental Illness and Families]
The Memory Palace by Mira Bartok **** This is a very hard book to read. I applaud Mira Bartok for her honesty in writing about her mother's Schizophrenia and the way it affected her life. Her struggle to take care of herself while not completely abandoning her mother was a very fine line to navigate and it won't be easy for readers to understand how and why she had to separate herself from her mother even when the mother was aging and homeless. Keep a light story near to take a break with.

Book Review: Still Missing by Chevy Stevens *This book was awesome!
Still Missing: Chevy Stevens Such a good book. Read it for book club. One of those I probably never would have picked out myself but so glad I read it.
Still Missing by Chevy Chase, on my to read list
"Still Missing" is the first novel written by author Chevy Stevens. I would describe this mystery as a page-turning, emotionally disturbing and frightening dark thriller. The story is shocking and suspenseful to the very explosive ending.
Still Missing by Chevy Stevens Interwoven with the story of the year Annie spent as the captive of psychopath in a remote mountain cabin, which unfolds through sessions with her psychiatrist, is a second narrative recounting events following her escape--her struggle to piece her shattered life back together and the ongoing police investigation into the identity of her captor.

This is a great book! All her books are worth reading!
Book #20(B) I had high hopes for this one. Don't get me wrong, it was a good book, but it wasn't as good as Stevens first book, Still Missing. Parts of the story began to feel redundant. I understand that it was intended to build suspense, but it was frustrating and made the pass of the book tedious. Over all, the story line was intriguing, the characters were well developed, and it lived up to its psycho thriller claims.
Another thriller by Chevy Stevens. My favorite book ever.
Never Knowing by Chevy Stevens. Struggling with a need for closure, Sara Gallagher attempts to reconnect with her birth parents only to learn that her biological father is an infamous serial killer, a discovery that causes her to fear she has inherited violent tendencies.

"While we're on the subject of miracles, consider this one: Just because life is hard, and always ends in a bad way, doesn't mean that all stories have to, even if that's what they tell us in school and in the New York Times Book Review. In fact, it's a good thing that stories are as different as we are, one from another."

Chasing Daylight: Seize the Power of Every Moment by Erwin Raphael McManus "In this inspiring book (formerly Seizing Your Divine Moment), Erwin McManus uses the biblical account of Israel's war with the Philistines (1 Samuel 13 and 14) and the characters of Saul and Jonathan to demonstrate the difference between living a life of purpose and adventure, and living one of apathy and missed opportunity"

The Book Thief - Markus Zusak Great Book Club choice
The Book Thief: Markus Zusak is the 2014 Margaret A. Edwards Award for lifetime achievement in writing for young adults
The Book Thief: Markus Zusak My very favorite book this year! I listened to it on Audible and the narration was superb. Great book about WW2 for teens too.
The Book Thief - Markus Zusak - Google Books - I'm reading this now and this is definitely a book worth reading.
The extraordinary #1 New York Times bestseller that is now a major motion picture, Markus Zusak's unforgettable story is about the ability of books to feed the soul. It is 1939. Nazi Germany. The country is holding its breath. Death has never been busier, and will become busier still. Liesel Meminger is a foster girl living outside of Munich, who scratches out a meager existence for herself by stealing when she encounters something she can’t resist–books. #ReviewBook #TheBookThief #MarkusZusak

Anything Francine Rivers is worth reading... Great Series
francine rivers' "a lineage of grace" The stories of the five unlikely women who changed eternity. Tamar, betrayed by the men who controlled her future, she fought for her right to believe in a loving God. Rahab, a woman with a past to whom God gave a future. Ruth, who gave up everything, expecting nothing, and God honored her. Bathsheba, whose beauty stirred the passion of a king, and whose pain moved the heart of God. Mary, who responded in simple obedience to God’s call. Each was faced with extraordinary —even scandalous— challenges, each took great personal risk to fulfill her calling, and each was destined to play a key role in the lineage of Jesus Christ.
