New Temporary Whiteboard Drawings by Gregory Euclide what a high school art teacher draws on the school white boards on his 25 minute breaks... pretty incredible... similar to sand art performance
whiteboard art gregory euclide
These are the astonishing masterpieces created by a high school teacher during his 25-minute lunch break - and then simply wiped away. Gregory Euclide began making his ephemeral artworks to show pupils at his school in the Minnesota River Valley what could be achieved in just a short space of time. But the students were so affected when he casually erased the beautiful creations that Mr Euclide decided to release a series of the temporary ink designs.

"Portraits Made With A Single Thread. New York artists Kumi Yamashita makes portraits with a single black thread wrapped through nails for her ongoing project 'Constellation'. The difference in color is achieved by using more or less thread in a certain area". www.walltowatch.com
Portraits Made with a Single Sewing Thread Wrapped through Nails by Kumi Yamashita: Constellation' is an ongoing series of portraits by New York artist Kumi Yamashita, known most prominently for her innovative light and shadow sculptures. Each image is constructed from a single unbroken black thread wound through a dense array of galvanized nails mounted on a painted white board, meaning that the darker areas within the portrait are formed solely from the density of the string.
One Single Thread, One Portrait by Kumi Yamashita "Sometimes you have to sit and process what you are looking at. This is a portrait made from a wooden panel, nails, and one single piece of thread. That is right; one single piece of thread. The panel is painted white, and then the NYC-based artist wraps the black thread around the nails more and more to create the darker sections." http://www.juxtapoz.com/Current/one-single-thread-one-portrait-by-kumi-yamashita #onethread #kumiyamashita
