Garb~ish construct~ifying

I make Renaissance garb. They are NOT "COSTUMES." I Make CLOTHING. I attempt to make AUTHENTIC, sometimes replicas, of clothing worn in the TUDOR PERIOD and occasionally from an earlier time. I do black work and much fine-stitched hand-sewing to make my clothes durable and present as period appropriate. I do extensive research and am always learning. Each project is a desire to improve and become MORE AUTHENTIC. I may expand into Victorian; Steam; Regency; and American Civil War.

OMG this is the best sewing idea. I hate eyelets and grommets and for a low-tension garment like an overbodice, this would work great.
