I saw this idea in an over-priced kids' catalog. It is for a fairy-like netting enclosure over a bed. I took an old smallish lampshade. Covered it in yards and yards of tulle - two types, both fine weave, one with sparkles, one without. Hot glued those around the upper rim of the shade. Cut our green foam leaves. Glued those in a circle over the tulle on upper rim of shade. Painted inside of shade pink. Hung with a zip tie from a plant hanger installed in ceiling. Total cost - $35.
