My family lived at Fort Huachuca, AZ for 3 1/2 years. June,1979-November, 1982. I graduated from Buena High School in Sierra Vista, AZ in 1981. I came to Texas for college but returned to AZ for summer vacation in 1982 before my dad retired from the Army in November.

The Old Post section of Fort Huachuca can be seen from the Huachucas. Wide-ranging grassland beyond the Army post is part of a 2,500-square-mile range used to test sensitive military intelligence.
