This is so funny! This way the kids can still express their feelings and it keeps an open relationship between teachers and students!

Love this! An anchor chart of sorts. Where could I put this other than the door? - or maybe the door would work. Could also have students make a mini version of this with electrical tape on a piece of paper.

Great idea ... doesn't take as much room up as a number line ... i will use this at a grouptime..... children working in pairs to make the tower... then one closes eyes.. other child takes one away... what's missing..... swap 2 over ... can you put it back in order? Make a tower of just even, just odd.... introduce the teens....,,etc! LH

Teaches kids how to use adjectives and allows them a chance to get used to standing up in front of a classroom full of children. A shy child could be a possible downfall of completing this activity to its fullest extent.

I used this anchor chart to introduce Personal Narratives in first grade. I'm thinking I can use this to introduce writing in kindergarten!

Oh joy...personal narrative. I like the, "It shows how you felt" line. My kids usually figure it out, but it's a good thing to teach explicitly.

Kids look for random acts of kindness to fill the Grinch with love. Whenever they see someone doing something nice for someone else, the person doing the kind deed gets to put a heart on the Grinch. If we can fill the Grinch with hearts, we get to have a Grinch Christmas Party the day before Christmas Break! ... this is such a good idea!!
