"June" hosta, one of my favorites, is lutescent, meaning it's color lightens with more direst sunlight. This is at the very shady end of the 'June' spectrum. At the other end, lighter blue-green leaves have light yellow-white streaks out to the leaf edge. In the PNW, 'June is a late Summer bloomer, sometimes as late as September.

'June': this selection bears thick golden-yellow foliage with streaky blue-green edges. It also offers a bit of sun tolerance. In fact, with a couple of hours of morning sun, 'June' displays brighter gold leaf centers.
