Inspired by the melted crayon art, I created this splatter paint project so I could talk to my Kindergarteners about the weather in the spring, "April showers bring May flowers!" They LOOOVED getting messy with the splatter paint. And the kids who don't consider themselves artists loved that they didn't have to touch their brush to their paper! Lots of fun!

Animals Need flip book. I would use this idea instead with "Plants need". Same concept, just different topic. Also, easy enough for kindergarteners!

Plants Need flipbook from dragonfliesinfirst.........did this with my 3 year old 4/412, she really enjoyed making it and wants to read her book every day!

This is an art project that helps the students learn why plants are living things.
