Despite what you might think, choosing a Christmas ornament for my kiddos to make is a STRESSFUL DECISION. You want it to look nice but you want the kids to make it all (or mostly) by themselves. What my kiddos have made in the past are WREATHS MADE FROM PUZZLE PIECES with their picture stuck inside. This, though, would also be VERY SNAZZY!!! P.S. I'd replace CUTE AS A BUTTON with their name and/or year...

An unusual thankfulness activity: kids pick out a random noun from a hat (ex. crayons, shoes) and have to write why they are thankful for it. Great for once "family" and "food" have been done too much.
