Jared H - This smile was captured at my Bar Mitzvah celebration. I was cutting the Challah with my grandfathers and the dj was playing chainsaw noises. We all started laughing, and the photographer caught the moment. It really shows how much fun I have with my grandparents!
Lynbrook South Middle were presented with a lesson regarding bullying awareness and acts of kindness. After the lesson and a class discussion, students were reminded that one small act of kindness can change a person's day, week, or month. It will most certainly put a smile on their face for that moment. The students were asked the questions..."What are some things that make you happy?" They wrote their responses on an index card. This board is displayed in the cafeteria at School.
Isabelle Weiss and Michelle Sobolewski "Shared A Smile" Title: Books of Smiles What it means to us: "For us smiles can be found worlds that don't exist, but mostly in people that do" Meaning of my message: Books are the things that make me smile when I'm frowning and happy when I'm sad. The only thing that makes me happier is my friends and family who helped me create my smile, my smile of books.
