Glo Bible: Experience the Bible like never before

Growing up, I never really enjoyed history. It was only as I got older that I started to take an interest. This book really takes you back to when Washington crossed the Delaware, and it makes us aware of what those soldiers had to endure to make our country what it is today. Although it is fiction, Newt Gingrich brings in facts about what was known from this crossing and weaves an excellent tale of how it must have been for those who fought for our freedom.

I enjoyed this book because I grew up at the end of the era where everyone had maids. I remember those days even though I was only about 3 years old, I remember how wonderful my grandmother's maid was. I shutter to think how horrible some of them were treated. This book is a real eye opener to what went on back then, especially for those of us who are too young to remember segregation and how awful it was. It is a 10 and a 1/2 out of 10.

This is probably one of the best books I've read this year. It is based on the true story of Jeannette Walls, and some of the stories she tells about growing up are truly unbelievable. It is a wonder that she survived. This is a 10 in a 1/2 out of 10. It will make you laugh, cry, get angry and all kinds of other emotions thrown in there :-) A very enjoyable read.

Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? This is written by Mindy Kaling from the TV comedy The Office. Although she writes in a disjointed kind of way, it is laugh out loud hilarious and cute. I'd give it an 8 out of 10. It won't bore you.

After reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, I had to start reading this one. It's just as good as the first story. A must read for sure.

Excellent reading! You will not be able to put it down. Of course the movie did not do it justice, so if you saw the movie and didn't read the book... read it.
