Party backdrop made with 3 dollar store disposable table cloths.

DIY Party Background for $5 or Less

Party DIY: take three colored plastic tablecloths, cut in strips leaving the top intact, braid top and let streamers hang down. Would look so cool as a backdrop for pictures at a holiday party or birthday!

Almost 2013! Start on January 1st with an empty jar. Throughout the year write the good things that happened to you on little pieces of paper. On December 31st, open the jar and read all the amazing things that happened to you that year.

. 365 days of good memories

Great New Year's idea: Start the year with an empty jar and fill it with notes about good things that happen. Then, on New Years Eve, empty it and see what awesome stuff happened that year. Good way to keep things in perspective.

My Christmas gift to my best friend. Really simple. I used blank mason jars, painted the bottom with glossy Mod Podge and dusted them with glitter. I then used my Instagram prints from www.foxgram.com (4X4) and slid them into the jar. Voilá. (It was her idea to feed her twinkle lights into the jars to light the photos from behind. Doubles as a great night light!)
