Sweet Nature Cake by My Sweet Art both the bear and bee hive are cake

I made this cake for Expotarta, a competition in Spain. It’s an hanging cake. Both bear and honeycomb are made with real cake. All the cake are covered in fondant and some details made with pastill.

Purple are bubble tea straws, green are the nuts. I chose to bury the thick board in the RKT leg section (just under the curved portion) so that the body could be made fully of cake with only a thinner board underneath and one at the midsection of the torso. I could have had two rods straight up all the way but miscalculated the height....
