It is prepared using colocasia leaves (arbi patta) and besan. They are steamed first and then shallow fry.

Best Banana Kofta These banana kofta can be made into 3 different version like for fasting, Jain and regular. It's gluten free and can be done vegan. Kofta's are prepared using appam with few drops of oil. When I was living in India, most of my neighbours were Jain. So I learned many dishes using raw banana like samosa, kela vada, banana fries, pav bhaji, Dabeli and I loved it. You won't even notice the difference as long as banana are raw (green) and cooked right.
Best Caramel Almond Kulfi (Ice Cream)
You may be thinking I don't like caramel (I heard that from daughter, sister in law 😃😄). Believe me, this is not regular caramel (with crunch) ice cream. It is one of the best I have tried so far. It's creamy and most delicious ice cream. It reminded me of eating good quality kulfi at weddings in India. It was slightly dense and creamy. You need few ingredients which may be lying in your pantry/fridge, nothing fancy or you can't pronounce. No artificial colour or flavour.

I want to create something not just tasty but appealing to the eyes. I got inspiration from Zebra cake and try to recreate the magic. So sit back, read and enjoy! Being Gujju gives me the right to brag about our humble dhokla which is high protein. It is steamed and prepared using few drops of oil. It is loved by all and especially kids and older people who can't eat hard food. I know in my house both my grandkids gets very excited when they see mom making dhokla ... haha.
