    White rice + food coloring + rubbing alcohol = Rainbow rice! A very less messy alternative to sandboxes. Fill a large tub and they could dig all day during the cold months.

    Fill your ice cube trays with water, adding a drop of food coloring to each section. When frozen, these can be popped out and put in baby’s bath water. He’ll have fund “chasing” them around in the tub and trying to grab them before they melt.

    Clutter Jail. If the kids leave it out, it goes in the clutter jail and they have to draw a card out of the community chest and complete the task to get their stuff back. Free printables! So doing this. Great way to teach responsibility. This beats threatening to throw away the toys :)
