Cleaning fruit - fill sink with water, add 1 C. vinegar, mix. Add all fruit and soak for 10 minutes. Water will be dirty and fruit will sparkle with no wax or dirty film. Great for Berries too--keeps them from molding.

We remove a lot of slivers in the summer time! Remove a splinter with baking soda is best for tiny, invisible splinters. Using a baking soda paste it will cause the skin to swell and push the splinter out.

    I found a 24 pack of jars at walmart for 5 bucks. Use them to make smoothies in the morning because you can blend them in the jar and transport them! So convenient. I think I have a pin somewhere about how to turn the lid into a non-spillable straw lid.
