Previous Pinner....Borax ant bait. Borax is the most common ingredient in house ant control products, and get this: it's absolutely 100% natural. The best way (in my opinion) to use Borax is to mix 1 cup of warm water with 1/2 cup of sugar, and 2 tablespoons of Borax. Then soak the Borax mixture up with cotton balls and place those cotton balls near any trails the ants have established in your home. Feeding frenzy... tomorrow they'll be gone. I knew there had to be a way to do this…
Pinner says: The homemade "Oxiclean" is awesome!! another pinner said "I tried it on a 5 year old white baby onesie that was discolored around the neck and it worked just like or even faster than the real Oxiclean! I have a bright white onesie again!"
*Another pinner said: "This is how i made my baby wipes 12 years ago and thought i was the only one making cleaning wipes too. ---video how to make-bleach wipes, baby wipes, glass wipes, and hand sanitizing wipes. each batch costs about 75 cents to make." I prefer Viva brand paper towels though. - write down for Jamie!!
If this is true, wow. De-tarnish ALL your silver ALL at once... line your sink with aluminum foil, add 1/2 c table salt, 1/2 c. baking soda, fill with hot water, then dump in all your silver! Let sit for about 30 min. The tarnish all transfers to the foil!
I never knew! Baking powder is a key ingredient in many cake, cookie and bread recipes; but that doesn't mean you have to pay someone else to make it. Here's how to make your own baking powder:
Prep Time: 2 minutes
Total Time: 2 minutes
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon corn starch (optional)
Mix the baking soda and cream of tartar together until well combined. Use immediately.
