Fagus Sylvatica (Beech) 'Dawyck Purple'
This is another purple beech tree which we think is very beautiful. The is a relatively rare, architectural tree with striking, deep purple foliage. Initially in spring the foliage is red before turning deep purple. In autumn the leaves turn a copper colour.
