true

true!

Hilarious, sad, true.... I remember those days vividly. Wish I had written this one!

Could read it every year. Only book Harper Lee ever wrote. Only book Harper Lee needed to write. You'll never forget the story set in the old South.

Love Andy Andrews and every one of his many books. Would definitely pay to hear him speak. As a teenager, he lived under a pier on the Gulf Coast, basically homeless. Today, successful author and speaker. His books share his keys to successful living.

Here is the first book in her Mitford series. I own and love all of Karon's books! Easy to read, makes you want to find this town of Mitford. In fact, the year I discovered her books, our family spent spring break in Blowing Rock, NC, where the author lived when she wrote the series. It was Mitford all over and we loved it!

Love his books! Three excellent autobiographical books written by Georgia doctor--this one chronicles his growing up years in the country. Followed by "The Whisper of the River" (college years at Mercer U. in Macon, GA) and "When All the World Was Young" when he fought in WW2.

Author is wealthy & successful in NYC, mother and father have chosen to be homeless in the city. True story of her eccentric family and how she grew up. Bestseller/award winner.

True story of author's grandmother growing up in wild west. Loved it! Continues with "Glass Castles".

Makes me want to go on an African safari (maybe). Hilarious and enjoyable read--true tales!

WW2 story of German occupation of British isles and how the people coped. I love it and have read several times! Wish the author could have written more, but she died and her niece had to finish this book for her.

My mother and I read this about 35 years ago and never forgot it. Recently resurfaced and is still a classic in our eyes.

Such a compelling and memorable story, thought to be autobiographical of Dicken's childhood.

I love all three of Joe Wheeler's "Stories Remembered". Great family reads or enjoy the short stories by yourself! Also has published probably 2 dozen volumes of Christmas Stories which we love to collect and read. Go to amazon to order.

Sequel to "Same Kind of Different as Me". True story.

Also on my "must read" list. Gifted to my daughter and forgot to read first!

Love the watercolor illustrations. Great design advice.

On my "to be read soon" list.

Beautiful floral arrangements from the yard and lovely interiors. A thoughtful Mother's Day gift from my daughters!

Found this great book at an estate sale.

Have read twice--life-changing true story.
