sashiko sri threads ___ This is the finish I'm going for on the too-small denim jacket I enlarged with mismatched denim side panels-- just a variety of imperfect running stitches in different colors running with the grain of the faded denim fabric.
I wonder what style of shibori this is. After months of reading and planning and knowing my indigo dye and other supplies are arriving tomorrow, I'm going to put everything aside and research this method. This is the direction I want to go.
