Here is another version from Yves G. for our #Cybook #ScreensaverContest. This one uses 89999 letters! "We are coming closer to the work, and to the pictural technique: from a distance the image is realistic, and as you get closer you distinguish the "brushstrokes"." "On tend vers l’œuvre, et vers la technique picturale même : vue de loin l'image est réaliste, en se rapprochant on distingue les "coups de pinceaux"."

Look at Yves G's image from a distance, then up close. "I thought the painting of "the Reader" by Fragonard would be a good subject. I created a program which recomposes the painting using only letters." "J'ai pensé que "La Liseuse" de Fragonard ferait un bon sujet pour une liseuse. Afin de jeter un pont entre art et technologie, j'ai créé un programme qui recompose le tableau uniquement avec des lettres." This image is composed of 39999 letters! Amazing! Thank you, Yves!
Mayda A. has sent us this amazing image for our #ScreensaverContest: "It is an ink drawing that portrays several aspects of reading and the written word: the enlightenment of our souls, the unlocking of knowledge, the timelessness of words, the introspective journey of our hearts and minds, the building of new realities, the branching of our roots....The original name of this piece is "Aspri Lexi", which means "White Word" in Greek." Thank you Mayda!
Thank you to Clément C. for this evocative image for our #Cybook #ScreensaverContest! We're very glad he didn't miss our on our contest, especially since, as he said, his mother has always hoped he'd become a star. "Dire que j'ai failli louper ça ! Devenir une star, c'est maman qui en a toujours rêvé ^_^"
Here is Sanni L's "unofficial" screensaver: "It features my lovely smiley boy Sulo, who often sleeps next to me when I'm reading :) " Thank you Sanni for sharing this photo of the world's happiest dog! He is sure to bring a smile to all animal-loving Bookeeners!
Raymond R. has sent us this beautiful photo for our #Cybook #ScreensaverContest: "Je vous propose cette image, une photo prise la semaine dernière sur les berges du Rhône à Lyon, comme écran de veille" "I propose this image, a photo taken last week on the banks of the Rhône in Lyon, as a screensaver." Merci Raymond, la photo est très belle !
Matthias S. has sent us this funny image for our #Cybook #ScreensaverContest ! Thanks Matthias! Everybody else: you've been warned, don't touch. ;)
