Ottoman krug, 15th/16th c, steel, circular chest plate with St. Irene arsenal mark and back plate with flat central boss bordered by radiating flutes, three smaller plates below the neck and under the arms with riveted and solid rings, back-plate with shoulder-defense and upper arm defenses, an articulated plate below on riveted leather, six smaller side plates all attached by riveted and solid rings, the main edges with riveted green cotton fringes, and domed copper rivets, 44.5 cm. high.
