I like to use Hershey's miniatures to help reinforce rock deformation. Students first bend the chocolate and it snaps creating a fault. They can create a normal, reverse, and strike-slip fault. In the next demo they warm the chocolate with their hands and it folds. Don't use the Mr. Goodbar because it has peanuts. Umm, what to do with all that extra chocolate. -Enjoy! Science from Murf LLC
