An unusual sight was seen a few days ago, with the exit of Paratrooper Brigade forces from Lebanon: one of the brigade reserve soldiers was carrying, along with all his heavy equipment and weapon, a white injured kitten. He carried it for six kilometers, until we reached Israeli territory. He said : "I decided it deserves a better future. After all, it is not its fault that war broke out."

Respect for this people

After seeing young Leslie crying on her walk to school while carrying 2 books and nothing else, an aid asked what was wrong. Leslie said she didn't have a backpack and wouldn't be able to get one for another couple weeks. An officer who was there at the time contacted a fellow officer and decided to go to Target. They bought Leslie a backpack, plus folders, a lunch box, pencils and more to brighten her 1st day of school
