SPRING SCIENCE FOR KIDS- 30 FUN ACTIVITIES!

SPRING SCIENCE FOR FUN ACTIVITIES! I love these projects for my students to do because they all have to do with growing, color reactions, and chemical reactions, which I feel are an important part of learning about science.

KMG-This is a great charting activity with plants and can be used toward the end of the lesson to ensure that the students understand the lesson. The parts of the plant and what the plants give are more complex complex concepts for kindergarten, but it is still okay to introduce and teach it. I just will not require reciprocation of the information in order to achieve mastery.

I really like this teacher's idea of having plant week to focus on plants as living things. This website has lesson plan ideas, plant experiments, poems, and books that can be used.
