A nickle went a long way back in the day. In a time when there were half pennies in our monetary system, and nickles, as well as half dimes, which were worth five cents but were physically half the size and the value of a dime, and 5 cent nickles like this one as well as three cent nickles, two cent pieces, twenty cent quarters and quarter quarters, oh boy! like i said money went a heck of a lot further back in the day, whatever that means.
