Boil 1 pint of water and add 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary (or 1 teaspoon fresh). Let this steep for 10 minutes and strain. Cool until it reaches body temperature, then pour over your pets coat, rub it in, and dry as usual. This will not only repel fleas, but will give your animal a glossy coat, as well.

FLEAS AND TICKS??? NOT THIS YEAR!!! Flea & Tick Remedy: 8 oz apple cider vinegar 4 oz warm water 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking soda Mix dry ingredients first then slowly add to wet as the vinegar and baking soda will react slightly. Put into spray bottle and spray pets down. Be careful not to get in pets eyes. Use Borax throughout the house, sprinkle it on the carpets and let sit for a few hours, then vacuum. This should kill all the fleas and ticks in your home and on your pets

I've been using Kirk’s Original Coco Castile Soap which has been around since 1839 to make Kirby’s shampoo, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, soap dispenser refill, body wash, and a veggie wash. The ingredients are coconut soap, water, vegetable glycerin, coconut oil, and natural fragrance. There’s also an unscented version.

the Bronner's has alot of oil in ingredience so I skipped extra coconut oil and it still made my dog's coat so greasy I have to rebath him tomorrow. I'll stick with dawn, vinegar and lavender.

Okay, need a shampoo for itchy Maltese/Yorkie & Matlese/Poodle breeds (2 dogs) with itchy skin. I will try this one using Dr. Bronner's unscented baby-mild castile soap. Here's hoping :)

DIY dog shampoo. 2 cups Ivory or Dove dish soap 2 cups water 2 cups apple cider vinegar 4 oz. liquid glycerin (Try the first aid section at your grocery or drugstore for the cheapest option, but you can always get it for a little more at a health food store.) Mix gently, and it’s ready to use. I need to try this.
