THE JANET TURNER PRINT MUSEUM - The mission of the Janet Turner Print Museum is to collect, preserve, curate, and exhibit a growing collection that expresses the talent, technique, and vision of artists. We endeavor to create an internationally recognized museum for public enrichment, educational experiences, and research opportunities.
COLMAN MUSEUM - In 1976, Lois Colman, granddaughter of D.B. Colman, canyon pioneer, realized her dream of preserving the history of Butte Creek Canyon came true, with the opening of the Colman Memorial Community Museum. The museum was financed with the profits of her book "Tailings of Butte Creek Canyon".
CHICO CREEK NATURE CENTER - The mission of the CCNC is to enhance the quality of all life by promoting understanding, awareness, appreciation, and knowledge of our environment through environmental education in Bidwell Park. It is the philosophy of the CCNC that through increased knowledge and understanding, individuals will learn to protect and preserve our natural resources and, especially, Bidwell Park.
CHICO MUSEUM - Preserving the Past for the Future. Housed in the historic Andrew Carnegie library and immediately adjacent to the California State University, Chico campus, the Chico Museum has provided the greater Chico community with memorable exhibits for over 27 years. Since its opening, the museum has served as a classroom for thousands of area children as well as a reflective resource for adults seeking knowledge of all things Chico.
PATRICK RANCH MUSEUM - The Patrick Ranch Museum is historically poised to tell a representative story of soil, water, and climate, and the people who harnessed them. The museum's grand 1877 farm house (Glenwood), a century plus of pictures, farm receipts, manuals and furniture, 260 year old Valley Oaks and rich alluvial soil provide an unparalleled springboard for first hand research and discovery.
NEW CLAIRVAUX VINEYARD - Come visit the Abbey of New Clairvaux, once home to the largest wine operation in the world during the late 1800's. Today the property is a working Cistercian or "Trappist" monastery that was founded in Vina in 1955. Father Paul Mark Schwan, Abbot of the monastery and Aimée Sunseri, fifth generation California winemaker, have combined their vision and passion for wine and history to create a unique and memorable wine experience.
ODYSSEY WINERY - The tasting room at Odyssey was constructed to showcase wine, art and food. The tasting room is open on Saturdays, May through December, from 1-6pm. A constantly evolving art show is always in progress. Special events are held at the winery by appointment. A meeting room and kitchen are available for corporate meetings and other gatherings. Each fall, Odyssey participates in the Sierra Oro Farm Trail Passport Weekend which showcases Ag Tourism venues in Butte County.
