Sharpie® Dyeing

Freeze Aloe Vera in an ice cube tray for instant sunburn relief.

Since most kids dump out the bottle of bubbles halfway through, this makes perfect sense...and you won't be too mad because it costs pennies ;) - perfect for next summer

Crayon hot rocks: If you have not done this yet, you need to. Simply warm up the rocks in the oven (I did 220 for 10 minutes), then put them on a stack of newspapers (or something else you don't care if it gets crayon in it) and let the little ones go to town. Just remind them it is hot. I have done it with 2 1/2 year olds with no problem. My little lady often brings in rocks for me to "cook" so she can paint them

Cute idea for a summer to-do list...create with the kiddos/check-off as you complete!

This is easier than water balloons - and the fun can go on for hours! No little balloon pieces to pick up either.

fill a little kid swimming pool up with bubbles.

Yet another thing I'm pretty sure I already pinned.... Bubble "Refill" Station - This mommy rinsed out the laundry detergent container several times, removed the labels, used a Sharpie to decorate it, and filled the container with bubble soap. Now kids can have easy OUTside access to fill up their own bubble shooters/toys.

Very cool: "Splash pad made with a tarp and pool noodles. I did sew five inch strips every foot along the edge (pink thread) to help keep the noodles in place. We also placed our sprinkler beach ball in the center of our splash pad."

Place a tarp under or at the bottom of slide, set up sprinkler to keep slide and tarp wet...hours of water fun! Remember for next summer!

The Sunbathing Companion - this is amazing - I am SO making this!

This Summer...Sidewalk paint - 1 cup cornstarch, 1 cup water, and food coloring.

Freeze Aloe Vera in an Ice Cube Tray for Instant Sunburn relief! Genius for people like me who do nothing but burn!!

COOLEST THING EVER!!! Cut open glow sticks pour them into bubble solution. Glow in the dark bubbles. Summer nights here we come!

Two ingredient cookies! 2 ripe bananas, 1 cup oats...mix together...spoon onto on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 15 minutes! Can add a handful of choc chips or nuts or raisins. Can't wait to try these!

This super easy waterfall hike to Lisa Falls in Little Cottonwood Canyon is perfect for kids. They can scramble over rocks during the short hike and play in the water at the bottom of the falls. <-- We need to try this one!

Summer Vacation: Over 1,900 Cheap and Free Things to Do (In Utah)

Large Ice cubes for pitchers. Must v this for summer. such a good idea!

Cool the kids off with a homemade sprinkler. Take a 2 liter soda bottle, poke holes in it. Attach to a garden hose via a male to male adapter that cost less than 5 dollars at Lowes. Toss over a tree branch and let hang. You can adjust how the water sprinkles by adjusting the water flow.
