NARA Pacific Region, San Bruno

The California History Room at the California State Library, 900 N Street, Sacramento, contains materials that support research of the history of the Golden State. Though there is no "genealogy department," the library holds manuscripts, diaries, letters, books and a large selection of California newspapers that assist in genealogical research regarding Californians.
