Paula Deen Aunt Peggy's Cucumber, Tomato and Onion Salad ~ Love this cucumber salad. I don't peel the cumbers and I cut the cucumbers and onions into small chunks. I also don't add the tomatoes because I make a lot of it at one time and store it in the refrigerator and use as needed. I add the tomatoes when (if) I want them when I serve it. I also like to put this on top of my toss salads and add some of the juice as my dressing. Love it. SP

Peanut Butter Banana Oat Breakfast Cookies, High Protein Ingredients ( Edit ) 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder 2 ripe bananas, mashed 2/3 cup of unsweetened applesauce 1/3 cup of peanut butter (can be creamy or chunky, depending on your preference) 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract 1 teaspoon of butter flavor extract 1/4 cup of chocolate chips (this is optional!) 1/4 cup of chopped nuts (whatever your favorite kinds of nuts are) 1 1/2 cups of instant oatmeal
peanut butter oat banana breakfast cookies ~ high in protein, only 100 calories Peanut Butter Banana Oat Breakfast Cookies with Carob/Chocolate Chips Prep Time 15 Minutes Cook Time 30 Minutes Servings 16 Difficulty Easy Ingredients 2 whole Ripe Bananas, Mashed Until Creamy ⅓ cups Peanut Butter, Creamy Or Chunky ⅔ cups Unsweetened Applesauce ¼ cups Vanilla Whey Protein Powder 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract 1 teaspoon Butter Extract, Optional 1-½ cup Quick Oatmeal, Uncooked ¼ cups Chopped Peanuts ¼ cups Carob Chips Or Chocolate Chips, Optional Preparation Instructions Preheat heat oven to 350ºF. In a large bowl, mix mashed banana and peanut butter until completely combined. Then add in the applesauce, vanilla protein powder and vanilla and butter extracts. Mix again until completely combined. Add in the oatmeal and nuts to the banana mixture and combine. (Add the optional carob/chocolate chips at this time if you want them mixed throughout.) Let dough rest for 10 minutes. Drop cookie dough, by spoonfuls, onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet and flatten cookies into circles, about a 1/3″ thick. (If you want the optional carob/chocolate chips on the top of the cookies, push them into the cookies now.) Bake cookies approximately 30 minutes, or until golden brown and done. Remove from oven and let rest on cookie sheet for 5 minutes, then move to cooling rack. If you would really rather use rolled oats, be sure to use the stovetop method below and adjust your liquid/cooking time accordingly.

Real Food Alternative: Throw together a big batch of homemade taco seasoning by combining 1 tablespoon of chili powder and 1 ½ teaspoons each of cumin, oregano, and salt. Add some red pepper to taste then store in an airtight container. I use 2 ½ teaspoons of taco seasoning per 1 pound of ground meat. Also check out my taco salad recipe for a different take on tacos!

"Honey Lime Fruit Salad" Fruit Salad with Honey-Lime Dressing Yield: enough for a crow: 1 pt. container strawberries 1 pt. container blueberries 1 bunch (about 1 1/2 lbs.) seedless grapes (green, red or a mixture of both) 1/4 cup honey juice from 2 limes (about 2-3 tablespoons) Rinse strawberries, blueberries and grapes. Gently pat dry the fruit. Hull strawberries, then cut each in half; if large, cut into quarters. Remove stems from blueberries,if any. Remove grapes from stems. Gently combine all three in a large bowl or aluminum tray. Set aside. In a small bowl, whisk together honey and lime juice. Pour over fruit. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
