"Super Awesome" Homemade Carpet Cleaner Deodorizer. 2 cups corn meal, 1 cup Borax, few drops essential oil
It sounds crazy, but it works! A quick and easy DIY carpet cleaner and deodorizer.2 cups of Corn Meal 1 cup of Borax Mix it all together and you’re all set. I also decided to get a little creative with it and added in a few drops of essential oil. I thought I would use something fresh-smelling, but that also has some cleaning/bad stuff-killing properties, so I used tea tree oil. Some people really hate the smell, but I think it smells nice and fresh. Cinnamon oil would be a good choice too.

Here’s the recipe for the potion! 1/2 gallon of plain white vinegar (I’ve heard of using apple cider vinegar as well, but I don’t think it’s necessary) 1/2 cup of salt 2 tablespoons of dishwashing liquid

Bathtub cleaning tips
Cleaning mold in the shower/tub Easy way to get rid of mold in shower caulk. Get rid of shower mold with just two simple items: bleach and cotton beauty coils, used for perms. Cut a piece of the cotton coil, soak it in bleach, and let it sit overnight on the mold. (Tip: Put a disposable pie pan in the tub, pour the bleach in the pan, then soak cotton in there before transferring it to mold – helps with the dripping! Use a q-tip to press it into mold so bleach won't get on fingers):

Cleaning tip: Laundry - Grease spots: Rub baking soda into it with a tooth brush, wait for it to ball up then brush it off and do it again and again until the baking soda doesn't ball up anymore while absorbing the grease. Use regular spot remover and wash. Viola!
For grease stains that have already been through the dryer - sprinkle with baking soda and scrub in with toothbrush. Baking soda will ball up as it absorbs the grease. Brush off and keep repeating process until grease has been absorbed. Then, treat with your normal laundry stain remover and run through washing machine.
