Goal Setting in the Classroom- love this. Students set smart goals, ones the can measure. I even set a goal and reflect on it too. Kids can check in on me and see how I'm achieving my goals as well.

Some good ideas about checking student work in their interactive notebooks. I also like the idea that this teacher occasionally let students use their notebooks on quizzes (unannounced), as a way to encourage students to encourage students to keep their work through and organized.
