Cancer Services' 31st Annual Capital Chefs' Showcase was the most successful yet, raising $265,000 through the amazing generosity of the Baton Rouge community!

Capital Chefs' Showcase a Success!

Lung cancer is the most common cause of cancer deaths in Louisiana. To commemorate November as Lung Cancer Awareness Month and spread awareness about this disease that affects too many of our neighbors, Cancer Services is hosting two events in partnership with the Lung Cancer Alliance and Mary Bird Perkins – Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Center. Both held the week of November 11th, they include a Lung Cancer Survivorship Luncheon and a special Lung Cancer Vigil.

Our commitment at Cancer Services of Baton Rouge is to provide patients in the area with quality education concerning their specific diagnosis.

Cancer Services' Annual Children's Holiday Party is something kids and families affected by cancer look forward to every year. An afternoon full of music, dancing, food, presents, crafts and, of course, Santa, is made possible through many generous donors, sponsors and volunteers in the Baton Rouge community.
