Film-maker Johnny Kelly has created a short film commissioned by Chipotle Mexican Grill, that plays along to a Willie Nelson cover of Coldplay’s “The Scientist”.
Coldplay's classic 'The Scientist' is performed by country music legend Willie Nelson for the soundtrack of the short film, "Back to the Start." The film, by film-maker Johnny Kelly, depicts the life of a farmer as he slowly turns his family farm into an industrial animal factory before seeing the errors of his ways and opting for a more sustainable future. Both the film and the soundtrack were commissioned by Chipotle to emphasize the importance of developing a sustainable food system.

So 10,500 industrial chemicals are used as cosmetic ingredients, many of which are carcinogens, pesticides, reproductive toxins, endocrine disruptors, plasticizers (chemicals that keep concrete soft), degreasers and surfactants. And these go on our skin and into the environment…

For example I used to drink 4-8 bottles of water --- a DAY. now, no plastic bottles. Try going a week without using any plastic bottles. It is a challenge at first.
The Story of Bottled Water gives a very interesting insight into the tactics used by the bottled water industry and ends with real solutions to encourage us to refill from the tap using our reusable water bottles! #ecococoon #reusewaterbottles #storyofbottledwater
This 5-minute video from the Story of Stuff Project explores the environmental effects of the bottled water industry.
The Story of Bottled Water, released on March 22, 2010 to tell the story of manufactured demand—how you get Americans to buy more than half a billion bottles of water every week when it already flows from the tap. The film explores the bottled water industrys attacks on tap water and its use of seductive, environmental-themed advertising to cover up the mountains of plastic waste it produces. Meat the Truth is a high-profile documentary which forms an addendum to earlier films on climate change. Although such films have succeeded in drawing public attention to the issue of global warming, they have repeatedly ignored one of the most important causes of climate change: the intensive livestock production. Meat the Truth draws attention to this by showing that livestock farming generates more greenhouse gas emissions worldwide than all cars, lorries, trains, boats and planes together.
Meat The Truth. En dokumentar om landbrugets kæmpemæssige indflydelse på klimaforandringer.
Meat The Truth This is a documentary about the environmental impact of livestock. It is presented by Marianne Thieme, leader of the Party for Animals in Denmark. It was one of the more compelling arguments for me to go vegan as opposed to vegetarian.

Most of us live in an environment where eating junk food is considered normal, and eating healthy food is considered weird. Where you can buy a candy bar at almost any store, but you sometimes have to travel for miles to get a fresh piece of spinach. It's not easy to be a food revolutionary. But it's never been more important. ~Ocean Robbins
