The recipe for making the best barbecue ribs you ever tasted. Just like the champion pitmasters do it. They are coated with a dry rub, then smoked low and slow for hours, and the sauce is added near the end and sizzled on.

Prime RIb 7-8 pound Bone In Prime Rib 2 T soft butter (kerrygold) 1 T gran garlic 1 T onion pdr 1 t ea sea salt/black pepper  Preheat oven to 450.  Pat meat dry. Cut several 1/2" deep strips on top & sides meat.  Rub meat down w/butter, sprinkle w/ seasonings. Bake 450 -15 minutes in a roasting pan. Reduce heat to 325, bake 1 1/2  hrs til internal temp is 120 degrees.  Baste as needed.     At 120 - remove from oven, cover w/foil. Let rest 30 min before cutting.  Cut and serve.
